Do people find your name weird?
If I am residing in the Europe or any part of the Western world, well maybe it is not so weird. I suspect that mine is a common name. But I don't know, I have never been there. At least, not yet.I think my name is quite ancient, dating back to the France queen - Marie Antoinette, or pre-biblical era (made me feel regal and ancient at the same time :) )
I have found quite a few people with the same name online and created a private group on Facebook 'Marie Magdalene - That's Our Name'.
So, how do I pronounce your name?
It is muh-REE actualy, funny how some people took the liberty to call me Mary.So muh-REE, how old are you?
It is not a matter of how-OLD-am-I. It is how young I feel..Currently, I am 29 years away from reaching the 60 years mark if I can live past that mark.
That is actually the number of years left before I have to retire from my work officially.
Do you work?
My first workplace was SMK Entilibon Telupid, and still IS my workplace. This year marks my 6.5 years of teaching there as an English teacher, though I have never had any formal education on how to teach language specifically.
My students are thriving and I can see improvement every passing year. So I guess, yes, I am doing something the right way.
Do you enjoy teaching?
Hahaha... Well that is a very relative and subjective question you asked me.Do I enjoy teaching, I can safely say YES to that. Generally.
All the time? Not really. Especially when the I felt the sky is about to fall onto me. Especially when the clerical work to finish outnumbered my time spent in class. Anyway, that is part and parcel of work anyway.
